K R King is a poet with over thirty years of literary experience, recognised with the 1994 President's Award for Literary Excellence and listed in the National Authors Registry. Educated under the British system and exposed to a rich mix of cultures, K R King developed a love of music, writing, and poetry from an early age. She studied piano for eight years and honed her poetic voice through public school recitals and exposure to the works of English poets such as Wordsworth, Tennyson, and Longfellow. Throughout her life, K R King has combined her passion for the arts with a desire to inspire young minds. With Potpourri, she brings her love of language and vivid imagination to children worldwide. K R King currently resides in Connecticut. When she's not writing, she enjoys interior decoration, furniture restoration, PVC furniture making, and playing the piano.
