Prof. N. B. Singh, former Head of the Chemistry Department and former Dean of the Faculty of Science at DDU Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur, India, is presently an Emeritus Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry and is associated with the Research and Development Cell, Sharda University, Greater Noida, UP, India. He is an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow (Germany). His main area of research is materials science. He has published more than 335 research articles and 85 book chapters. He has authored six books and edited eight books. He has been granted four patents. He is the President of the Indian Association of Solid-State Chemists and Allied Scientists, Jammu, India. His name has appeared four times (2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024) in the list of the top 2% of scientists in the world, declared by Stanford University, USA. Prof. Saroj Kr. Shukla is a Professor in the Department of Polymer Science, Bhaskaracharya College of Applied Sciences, University of Delhi, India. He has published 102 research papers, 25 book chapters, two books, and two special issues. He has received a number of national and international awards for his scientific contributions. His major areas of research include conducting polymers, polymer composites, sensors, and packaging technology.
