Polymer-based drug delivery systems represent advancements in modern therapeutics, offering precise, controlled, and sustained release of medications. By utilizing the chemical and physical properties of natural and synthetic polymers, researchers can design carriers that improve drug stability, bioavailability, and targeting efficiency. This approach enhances therapeutic outcomes while reducing side effects and dosing frequency, improving patient compliance. As the practiceb integrates polymer science with clinical application, it opens new areas for personalized medicine and the treatment of complex diseases like cancer, autoimmune disorders, and chronic diseases. Polymer-Based Drug Delivery: Bridging Science and Therapeutics delves into the cutting-edge world of polymer science and its application in drug delivery systems. It explores the latest advances in polymer-based technologies, focusing on how polymers can be engineered to enhance the efficacy, safety, and precision of drug delivery. This book covers topics such as biology, chemical science, and engineering, and is a useful resource for drug developers, medical professionals, engineers, academicians, researchers, and scientists.
