Dr. Onur Kulaç is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at Pamukkale University in Denizli, Turkey. He earned his Ph.D. in Politics and Public Administration from Pamukkale University in December 2016. He also holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from the University of York, UK, completed in 2011, and a bachelor's degree in International Relations from Ege University, Turkey. Currently serving as the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences and the Director of the Social, Economic, and Political Research and Application Center at Pamukkale University, Dr. Kulaç has a significant role in the university's administrative and international relations efforts. His academic contributions are marked by postdoctoral research at prestigious institutions such as the University of Southern California and Pardubice University. Dr. Kulaç has made substantial contributions to public policy, higher education policy, and public administration education through numerous peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations. His research spans areas such as decision-making processes, climate change policy, and the role of think tanks in policy-making. Additionally, he has been involved in various international research projects, including studies on the impact of COVID-19 on public administration. Çiğdem Akman graduated from Suleyman Demirel University, Department of Public Administration. She completed her master’s degree at Sakarya University at the Institute of Social Sciences, Program of Public Administration. She completed her doctorate education at Suleyman Demirel University Institute of Social Sciences Program of Public Finance in 2015. She worked as a Lecturer at the Egirdir Vocational School between 2010-2015. In 2016, she has been appointed as an assistant professor at the Department of Public Administration at Suleyman Demirel University. Since 2020, she is working at Suleyman Demirel University, Department of Political Science and Public Administration as an associate professor. The author has books, many book chapters, and articles on Local Governments, Local Government Finance, E-government, Artificial Intelligence, Government Systems, Policy Boards, Twinning City, and Cittaslow.
