This little story is about imagination, it is about letting yourself dream the seemingly impossible. Sippy was born to help my granddaughter go to sleep at night. Going to bed had never been easy for our little angel, so the story always begins cuddled up in bed and just as she goes off to sleep the dreaming adventures begin. Sippy became her magical dragon. Not at all like any dragon you have seen before. No scales, Sippy is soft and furry. No breathing fire, Sippy roars butterflies instead.

You may be tempted to say he isn’t really a dragon but he is, he is Sugar’s dragon, exactly the way she wants him to be.

The images needed to provoke emotion. We didn’t want them to mimmick the story, we wanted them to draw you into the book, so that you and your child could find your own special magic within each page. No one can do that quite as beautifully as Bec Winnel. We were so very lucky that she fell under Sippy’s spell, entering into his magical world and bringing these incredibly beautiful images back with her from the Sippy and Sunny dreamland.
