Sampson Tawiah holds a PhD in Education from the University of South Africa. He is an Associate Lecturer at the Durban University of Technology. His research interests are in General Education, Educational Foundations and Adult Education for workplace inclusion and employment. His main intellectual interest is in youths, adults and community development. His research focuses on women in South Africa and Africa in general and the links between race and vocational education for livelihood, social inclusion, inequality, and poverty reduction. His work epitomizes scientific data and theoretical foundations of education including work and skills development.
