Mr. Dinesh Chandra Sharma, MBA, is a renowned Olympic philatelist, As CEO of Bharat International School he introduced philately into the academic curriculum.He made his international debut in 1985 at OLYMPHILEX-85, the World Olympic Philatelic Exhibition held at the IOC headquarters in Lausanne, Switzerland. He has participated in all eight editions of OLYMPHILEX/OLYMPEX and represented India as National Commissioner at OLYMPEX-2008.Mr. Sharma has won 64 international medals and awards for Olympic and Sports Philately exhibits and philatelic literature, including Vermeil Medals at FIP World Exhibitions since 2001 and a Gold Medal at INPEX-2008. His exhibit Olympic Games featured in the Court of Honour at SPORTASIANA-86, Seoul.He served over seven years as Head of the Philatelic Department of the Republic of Nauru and founded the Institute of Philately in 1990 to promote philately in India.
