Eighteen-year-old Hazel Williams isn't sure what's real anymore.

Diagnosed with bipolar schizophrenia, she agrees to spend a week at a remote mountain cabin with her best friend, Becca, and Becca's college friends-one of whom happens to be Hazel's ex... and his new girlfriend. Hoping for a break from the chaos in her mind, Hazel instead finds herself surrounded by tension, secrets, and a creeping sense that something inside the cabin isn't right.

The only person who makes her feel steady is Logan, a quiet, enigmatic friend of Becca's who sees past her defenses in ways no one else can. But even with Logan at her side, Hazel can't ignore what's happening around her.

Locked doors shift. Whispers echo through empty halls. And Hazel keeps seeing a pale girl. A figure who vanishes whenever someone else looks.

Her friends think it's just her mind playing tricks on her. Hazel isn't so sure. Because some hauntings don't stay buried.

And some monsters don't live outside your head.

Phantom Delusions is a chilling young adult psychological thriller where the line between hallucination and haunting blurs. And survival means trusting the one person who believes in you when no one else does.

Carrigan is the author of several novels that make you cry and whisk you to faraway places. Though born in Cullman, Alabama, she grew up in Birmingham and moved to Atlanta at 18. She earned her BA in English and her Master of Arts in Professional Writing at Kennesaw State University. For as long as she can remember, she was always making up stories and characters inside her head, sometimes using her dolls to act out the scenes. When she's not writing (which is rare), she's spending time with her family and friends, listening to music, playing with her furbabies, Ella and Ozzie, and cheering on her Atlanta Braves.
