5 stars. Transformed and empowered as a Disciple of Jesus. This study on the life of Peter is truly transformational! As I watched the shifts in Peter as he learned from Jesus, I experienced similar shifts within myself. Somewhere over the last few years, I had laid down my confidence as a daughter of the Most High God; I picked it back up, feeling an increase of empowerment by the Holy Spirit to fulfill the call of God and the commission He has for me. Bonnie Allen 5 stars. I found this study of Peter to be both thought-provoking and transforming for my life. The way that the study was set up, giving verses to read and then questions to answer, was a wonderful way to learn. The commentary at the end of each lesson was thought-provoking and informative. I came away from the study with a new perspective on Peter and his ministry and how this applies to me. We are called to minister, to touch others by our life. This study brought that into focus and has transformed my life, leading me to realize that I, too, can surrender my life to the Lord and follow where He leads me. Kelly Lehto 5 stars. To have a deeper understanding of Peter. If you want to learn more about Peter and his role in the Bible, I highly recommend this In-Depth study. Through this study, I learned about Peter's role in the formation of the early church, his personal journey from a fisherman to a Fisher of men, as he walked with Jesus during his earthly ministry. Most can relate to Peter in one way or another. Through this study, you will find many relatable interactions and Peter's growth through his relationship with Jesus that apply to your own life. The different sections of looking up scripture, answering thought-provoking questions posed by the author, and the author's narrative of scripture are deep and thought-provoking. Once again, I highly recommend this study! YaYa 5 stars. Deeper insight. I thought I knew the New Testament when I started, but I gained so much more through the cultural information that was explored and the way the scripture reading portion was presented. The book allows the reader to learn first for themselves, straight from scripture, and then gain extra insight through the study notes at the end of each section. Casey Perry 5 stars Best Study of Peter EVER!! This deep dive into learning more about Peter has opened my eyes to my own personality and how much Jesus has worked in me to teach, train, and love me into becoming more like Him. I highly recommend this study to anyone who wants to see how Jesus loves you and calls you just the way you are, but has so much more for you as you say ""Yes"" and follow Him, just as Peter did.
