This multi-media course for secondary students consists of 16 chapters that feature short texts and exercises based on real-life situations, reading texts with a cultural theme and a final section that brings together the phrases and structures introduced in the chapter. Accompanying video content provides extra cultural information on German-speaking countries and key dialogues from the coursebook. It also uses Augmented Reality, giving students and teachers access to additional digital content. They can scan barcodes in the coursebooks with a smartphone or tablet to gain access to a free app that can be downloaded using a unique code printed in each book.
The teachers' books for each level, available in both print and digital versions, contain the complete coursebook, chapter-by-chapter teaching notes, additional cultural information, suggestions and worksheets for using the Augmented Reality and video files, photocopiables and an answer key.
