Fear, confusion, and unanswered questions gripped La Shaine Reynolds as she navigated life in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. From childhood anxieties about divine judgment to the relentless pressure to achieve unattainable perfection, La Shaine's journey is one of struggle and self-discovery. The teachings of the church's founders left her wrestling with guilt and fear, leading her to question the very faith she was raised in.

In Overcoming Seventh-Day Adventism, La Shaine courageously shares:

The doctrines and practices that shaped her experience. The mental, physical, and spiritual toll these teachings took on her life. The culture of fear and control that left her searching for freedom and truth.

This book is a beacon of hope for anyone seeking to understand their experiences within religious frameworks. The extensive appendix debunks some of the common teaches of Ellen G. White and offers healing, clarity, and a path toward truth rooted in the Word of God.

La Shaine Reynolds spent her early years in the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Its teachings caused confusion and an unhealthy fear of God, death, and end-time doctrines. In 1994, La Shaine left the church as a young adult. She now lives in Missouri with her husband, Tim. They have six children and five grandchildren. She graduated from Montreat College with a B.A. in Bible and Religion and is pursuing her M.A. in Biblical Studies.
