Organ trafficking prevention in the healthcare sector depends on the integration of cybersecurity and ethical medical practices. As digital health systems expand and sensitive patient data becomes interconnected, cybercriminals exploit vulnerabilities to facilitate organ trade through data manipulation, identity theft, and the illegal exchange of medical information. Addressing this threat requires a collaborative approach to cybersecurity value, where healthcare providers, technology developers, policymakers, and law enforcement design secure digital infrastructures and ethical frameworks. By embedding cybersecurity into the core of healthcare operations, institutions can protect patient data while strengthening trust, transparency, and resilience against medical exploitation in the modern era. Organ Trafficking Prevention in the Healthcare Sector: Examining the Co-Creation of Cybersecurity Value explores the co-creation of cybersecurity value within the healthcare sector, with a specific focus on preventing organ trafficking through the protection of sensitive patient data. It delves into the intersection of digital ethics, AI-enabled cyber defense, stakeholder collaboration, and data governance. This book covers topics such as healthcare services, patient care, and policymaking, and is a useful resource for medical and healthcare professionals, government officials, engineers, academicians, researchers, and data scientists.
