Deepika Saini, PhD, is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Zoology at Chamanlal Mahavidyalaya, Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India. She was formerly a faculty member in the Natural Science Department of the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, Salisbury, Maryland, USA. She has edited four books, published journal papers, presented papers at national and international seminars and conferences, and organized conferences and webinars with reputed institutes, such as the Zoological Survey of India and Botanical Survey of India, Uttarakhand Council of Science and Technology, and the Uttarakhand Council for Biotechnology, Dehradun, India. Rajesh K. Kesharwani, PhD, is an Associate Professor at Nehru Gram Bharati (Deemed to be University), Prayagraj, India. He has more than 11 years of research and nine years of teaching experience focusing on bioinformatics and biotechnology education. Dr. Kesharwani has authored many peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and edited books with international publishers. He has been a member of many scientific communities as well as a reviewer for many international journals. He has presented many papers at national and international conferences. He has been a recipient of a Ministry of Human Resource Development (India) Fellowship and a Senior Research Fellowship from the Indian Council of Medical Research, India. Raj K. Keservani, PhD, MPharm, is a Professor in the Faculty of B. Pharmacy at the CSM Group of Institutions, Prayagraj, India. He has more than 16 years of academic experience in pharmaceutical education and has supervised undergraduate students for their research work. Dr. Keservani published many book chapters, review and research papers, and books in the field of pharmaceutical sciences. He is also active as a reviewer for several international scientific journals. His research interests include nutraceutical and functional foods, novel drug delivery systems (NDDS), transdermal drug delivery/drug delivery, health science, cancer biology, and neurobiology.
