This book is very similar, but not identical, to book 3 in series 10. Most of these warrants were from the Sullivan and Washington County land offices. Some were issued due to entries in John Armstrong's office, And a few were from the Greene County office. 10. book) contains transcripts of warrants issued for land prior to the Cherokee removal. These warrants include preemption warrants, warrants originally issued to Evans' Battalion and the Commissioners' guard, and warrants originally issued from John Armstrong's office.
