Following the successful September 11 Museum publications A Place of Remembrance and The Stories They Tell, No Day Shall Erase You will be the

flagship book for the National September 11 Memorial & Museum. It is the first and only official publication since the museum opened, and it is published to coincide with the 15th anniversary of 9/11. By bringing a visit to the September 11 Museum alive in book form, No Day Shall Erase You provides readers with an opportunity to (re)visit the museum, focusing on key themes and objects. Beginning with the monumental Tridents, and proceeding toward The Last Column and the Slurry Wall, the museum book will use narratives and photographs (from the museum and from the history of the

objects) to emphasize the highlights of the museum's interpretation of the 9/11 story.

Bloomberg (foreword) was the 108th mayor of New York City. He was first elected in November 2001, two months after the terrorist attacks of 9/11. Mayor Bloomberg is the chairman of the board of directors of the 9/11 Museum. The mission of the National September 11 Memorial & Museum is to bear solemn witness to the terrorist attacks against the World Trade Center. The museum honors the nearly 3,000 victims of these attacks and all those who risked their lives to save others. It further recognizes the thousands who survived and all who demonstrated extraordinary compassion in the aftermath.
