""It is tragic that so many children’s needs are just missed in schools and often it is too late. If you are striving to make a real difference to children's educational experiences in a positive way, read this book. Hannah explains the power of screening leaving no stone unturned. She identifies a multitude of areas to screen and provides links to practical materials that any teacher can use. This book is packed full of crucial information for everyone working in the world of SEN."" - Amy Leeke, SENCO, Bredon School ""No Child is Missed, No Child Misses Out is an excellent book which is so much more than it first appears. It delves not only into the ‘what’ and ‘how’ of screening, assessment and implications for support but (perhaps most importantly) also describes, from a research-based perspective, the ‘why’. Written by a SEND leader with deep knowledge and first-hand experience, this book is an essential read for any colleague wanting to better understand and support learners’ needs and, ultimately, to play their part in bringing about a more inclusive society."" - Natalie Packer, SEND Consultant and Director, NPEC Ltd
