Based on the extensive classroom experience of the teachers at Sogang University's Korean Language Education Center, this book is designed to help learners effectively acquire both the language and culture.It reflects the latest trends in line with the changing times and incorporates suggestions from those who appreciate Sogang, enhancing convenience for both instructors and learners. Considering that the Level 1 regular course consists of 200 hours, the curriculum is structured as follows: 100 hours of speaking, 25 hours of reading and speaking, 25 hours of listening and speaking, and 50 hours of writing. Along with revising the *Sogang Korean Student’s Book 1A·1B* and *Sogang Korean Workbook 1A·1B*, two new books, *Sogang Korean Hangeul* and *Sogang Korean Writing Book 1A·1B*, have also been published.
서강대학교 한국어교육원 선생님들이 오랜 기간 수업 현장에서 쌓은 노하우를 바탕으로 언어와 문화를 효율적으로 배우고 익힐 수 있도록 설계하였다. 변화하는 시대에 맞춰 최신 경향을 반영하였으며, 서강을 아껴 주시는 여러 분들의 조언을 받아들여 교수자와 학습자 모두의 편의성을 강화하였다. 1급의 정규 과정이 200시간으로 구성되어 있는 점을 고려하여 말하기 100시간, 읽고 말하기 25시간, 듣고 말하기 25시간, 쓰기 50시간으로 편성하였다. 기존의 <서강한국어 Student’s Book 1A·1B>와 <서강한국어 Workbook 1A·1B>를 개정하면서 <서강한국어 한글>과 <서강한국어 Writing Book 1A·1B>를 새로 출간하였다.
