During his career, Mike has provided senior level consultative support to numerous headquarters' organizational elements within the Department of Energy (DOE), the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), and the U.S. Navy. Topics include safety culture, integrated safety management, nuclear safety, facility safety, and worker safety. He has also led a series of accident investigations in addition to conducting evaluations addressing implementation of safety culture attributes, and he has served on Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and DOE/NNSA Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) on-site review teams.
