Dianne is a former elementary school teacher and reading specialist. She is grateful to have been able to share her love of literature throughout her career and continues to foster a love of reading through her writing and website. She wrote My Soccer Season to to share the joy of the game and encourage children to explore and pursue their interests. Seeing children do what they love and love what they do makes her heart sing. Her favorite soccer memory is from high school and playing in lunchtime intramurals. Dianne wasn't an all-star player, but she had fun, a lot of laughs, and a few gaffes. Sarah has been professionally designing and illustrating for children since 2007, after completing a BA (hons) in Illustration in 2006 from Camberwell College of Arts. She has worked mainly in design, including as an in-house children's designer at companies including Pearson Education, John Brown Media and Redan Publishing. She completes children's design work for many companies, including leading publishers such as Dorling Kindersley and Arcturus. Her business is called Fountain Creative.
