She’s hungry, she’s cranky, she’s feeling too hot.

It’s way past nap time and she’s not in her cot.

She’s snotty and teary – there is no room for error.

Incredible, unstoppable, titan of terror!

What would you do if a toddler tornado tore through your toys? Get her a snack? Sing her a lullaby? Give her a cuddle? Can one clever sibling tame the tantrum before the whole house turns to rubble?

A hilarious and heartwarming tale that's perfect for big siblings, tired parents and anyone who’s faced a tiny human whirlwind.

Jacinta Froud has been writing stories and poems since she was knee high to a grasshopper. She is a bookseller and a mum to three children, who love listening to her silly stories and provide constructive criticism when poked. She first trained as a chef and then became a high school teacher and taught in schools around NSW and the ACT. Silly stories are often buzzing around in her head when she should be concentrating on more serious things! Matt Shanks is an internationally-published and critically-acclaimed author/illustrator of over twenty picture books. He is a two-time fellow of the May Gibbs' Children's Literature Trust, an Australian Literary and Numeracy Foundation ambassador, co-editor of Words Like This, and works primarily in watercolour. He lives on Boon Wurrung land with his partner and cat. This is the first children's book that combines Matt's creative pursuits with his work in digital technology solutions across climate, biodiversity, and energy.
