Arthur Bartlett's life journey is a wonderful example of how God employs someone who has given his life over to serve Him: ""It's like God's got me on a chess board and is moving me around"".

As a bricklayer, cowboy and lay preacher, Arthur has impacted thousands, not through social media or great crusades, but by sharing the gospel with them.

""So many different cogs in my life brought me to things. I never asked for anything; it just came.""

His sermons at Christian youth camp 'Mill Valley Ranch' in Tynong North, Victoria - which he established and managed with his wife Bonnie for 40 years - as well as his 30-year chaplaincy in the racing car industry and many other endeavours have made a lasting impact in horse circles, Christian camping and the racing fraternity.

Follow the growth of the mischievous young man into a man of God and his practical approach to Christian life.

""In many ways, I am a pioneer - always starting something new.""

Arthur Bartlett is the type of person you want to call your friend. He gives love with both servings - tough and soft - as required. A pioneer, traveller, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, chaplain, manager, president. Whichever hat he wears, he does his best to fill it honourably. What does a life look like when it is given over to God? Arthur's life is a prime example.Judith St Mart is a German immigrant and a mother of four girls, with a strong heart for Christ. Since the age of 13, she wanted to be an author, and has several books in progress. Judith lived for 15 years near Mill Valley Ranch and felt drawn to it, but it would be 18 years later before God led her to Arthur, who needed an author. Through her unique position of having worked at the ranch briefly and living in its neighbourhood, as well as her thirst to discover the story of the foundation of this youth camp, she was the right candidate to bring Arthur's story to life on the page. Judith has worked in several professions, but she is happiest when she is typing away at a story. She is looking forward to publishing more books in this chapter of her life.
