After three decades of employment in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors, Tracey felt she needed a change. In 2016, she sold her house in Los Angeles, quit her job, and fulfilled her dream of moving to Italy. There, she pursued her animal rights advocacy full-time. She then co-founded an animal-centric production company and later a vegan advocacy non-profit. Not one to rest, Tracey moved to Scotland in 2020. She started plans for a year-long vegan adventure, the highlights of which are recounted in her first book, Mud, Grapes and White Linen: A Beautiful Vegan Life. Tracey's projects aim to encourage people to adopt more compassionate and sustainable lifestyles. She enjoys a purposeful and vibrant life while striving to exemplify how that can be accomplished with a nod to compassion. She lives in an old, converted stone barn outside St. Andrews with her four rescued dogs.
