About the Author

Andrew Aldred has been mentally ill for nearly forty years since leaving the Army. He has worked in various jobs and earned the money to buy a house. He has recently been discharged from mental health services but is under their care again. He will always have to take medication and has struggled to survive in the community around Bolton and Farnworth. He has spent significant time in mental hospital and prison and values the freedom he has and never wants to lose it again. He was married and got divorced and his ex-wife is his partner and best friend.
