Jacopo della Quercia is an award-winning scholar and the author of three books, a play, more than a dozen academic essays, and over two hundred articles. He has spoken at Albany Medical College, New York University, the University at Albany, and various museums and libraries on topics ranging from Dante's Inferno to silent movies to Mark Twain's bizarre influence on video games. His essay ""NecronomiCommedia- Dante, Dore, and the Root of Lovecraftian Horror"" was featured in the 2023 book Weird Tales- 100 Years of Weird and has been credited for advancing existing scholarship on H.P. Lovecraft ""by leaps and bounds."" Jacopo lives in a little town called Little Falls in New York's Mohawk Valley with his wife, a fellow educator, to whom he owes everything.
