James Forrest is a former newspaper reporter turned adventure travel writer. He has written for the Sunday Telegraph, the Guardian and a range of magazines including Adventure Travel, Country Walking, Outdoor Enthusiast, Trail, The Great Outdoors, Cumbria, Lakeland Walker and Sidetracked.
