For over fifty years, Stephen Mettling has been actively engaged in real estate education. Beginning with Dearborn Publishing in 1972, then called Real Estate Education Company, Mr. Mettling managed the company's textbook division and author acquisitions. Subsequently he built up the company's real estate school division which eventually became the country's largest real estate, insurance and securities school network in the country. In 1978, Mr. Mettling founded Performance Programs Company, a custom training program publishing and development company specializing in commercial, industrial, and corporate real estate. Over time, Performance Programs Company narrowed its focus to real estate textbook and exam prep publishing. Currently the Company's texts and prelicense resources are used in hundreds of schools in over 48 states. Mr. Mettling has authored over 100 textbooks, real estate prelicense programs and exam prep manuals. Ellen Barski has enjoyed a career as a writer, editor, and content developer for close to 30 years, the last eight of which have been in real estate-related education. She has written and developed pre-license, post-license, test prep, and continuing education courses in multiple states. Ellen takes great pride in empowering aspiring and seasoned professionals alike, guiding them towards achieving their career goals with confidence and expertise. As President and publisher of Performance Programs Company, Ryan Mettling is an accomplished online curriculum designer, author and textbook developer specializing in real estate, license training, and exam prep manuals. To date, Ryan has managed the development and all revision work for our 65-title product line involving author recruitment, product design, executive management, production, printing and marketing. Mr. Mettling graduated Valedictorian from the University of Central Florida's College of Business Administration in 2012.
