Beata Mrugalska, Ph.D., D.Sc., Eur.Erg. is an Associate Professor, Vice-dean for Science (2024-2028) at the Faculty of Management Engineering and head of the Division of Applied Ergonomics (2020-2024), (2024-2028), Institute of Safety and Quality Engineering, Faculty of Management Engineering, Poznan University of Technology in Poland. She holds an M.Sc. (2001) in Management and Marketing from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Management at the Poznan University of Technology, and a Ph.D. (2009) in Machine Construction and Operation from the Faculty of Computer Science and Management at the Poznan University of Technology. She was awarded D.Sc. (dr habil.) degree in Mechanical Engineering by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Poznan University of Technology, Poland (2019). Waldemar Karwowski, Ph.D., D.Sc., P.E. is Pegasus Professor and Chairman, Department of Industrial Engineering and Management Systems and Executive Director, Institute for Advanced Systems Engineering, University of Central Florida, Orlando, USA. He holds an M.S. (1978) in Production Engineering and Management from the Technical University of Wroclaw, Poland, and a Ph.D. (1982) in Industrial Engineering from Texas Tech University. He was awarded a D.Sc. (dr habil.) degree in management science by the State Institute for Organization and Management in Industry, Poland (2004). Tareq Z. Ahram, Ph.D. is a Senior Executive and Research Professor in Emerging Technologies and Intelligent Healthcare Systems in the United States of America and a Visiting Professor in London, United Kingdom. He received a Ph.D. degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Central Florida, USA, in 2008, with specialization in human systems integration and large-scale information retrieval systems optimization. M.Sc. in Industrial Systems Engineering - Human Factors from UCF in 2007, M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Jordan in 2002 and 2004 respectively.
