Samiksha Joshi is currently an Assistant Professor, Swami Rama Himalayan University, Himalayan School of Biosciences, Department of Biosciences, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. She has completed her MSc and PhD in Microbiology from G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology Pantnaga, India. Her area of expertise is microbiology, molecular biology, plant-microbe interaction, plant growth promoting rhizobacteria, metagenomics, biodegradation, and bioremediation. She has published 8 research and review articles in reputed international journals and has authored 8 book chapters. Saurabh Gangola is currently an Assistant Professor at Graphic Era Deemed to be University in the Department of Microbiology, Dehradun, India. He has completed his MSc and PhD in Microbiology from G. B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in Pantnaga, India. His area of specialization is bioremediation and biodegradation of xenobiotic compounds (including pesticides, hydrocarbons, and azo dye), degradation kinetics, microbial stress-responsive enzymes, bioinformatics, molecular biology, plant-microbe interaction, plant growth-promoting rhizobacteria, culturable and unculturable microorganisms, and metagenomics. He has published several research papers, review papers in highly reputed journals, book chapters, edited books (Springer and Elsevier) and also published patents. He has edited special issues as a guest editor in Scientific Reports and Frontiers in Microbiology. He has been a valued editorial board member of several national and international journals. Dr. Pragati Srivastava is currently working as a DST-SERB, National Post Doctoral Fellow, at the ICAR-National Institute of Plant Biotechnology, IARI Pusa, New Delhi, India. She has completed her MSc and PhD in Microbiology from Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Udhamsingh Nagar Uttrakhand, India. Her research interests are in Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Biotechnology with additional knowledge of bio-informatics tools and genetic engineering. She has received the Young Women Scientist Award at the International Conference on “Futuristic Agricultural technology for Natural Farming and Global Food Marketing. Her expertise is in siderophore-producing bacteria, its isolation, optimization, and identification of its different types. She has published articles in highly reputed journals and contributed chapters to edited books. Dr. Deep Chandra Suyal is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Microbiology, Akal College of Basic Sciences, Eternal University, Baru Sahib, Himachal Pradesh, India. He has been actively engaged in research for 10 years, and has experience in the fields of agricultural microbiology, molecular biology & biotechnology and metagenomics. He is currently investigating the genomics & proteomics of cold adapted microorganisms. He has published numerous articles and books with reputed international journals and publishers. He has three patents in his credit. Geeta Bhandari is currently an Assistant Professor in the Himalayan School of Biosciences at Swami Rama Himalayan University in Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. She was previously an Assistant Professor in Biotechnology at Sardar Bhagwan Singh University. She received her PhD at Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology and her research interest and expertise is in environmental microbiology.
