ALI FATEMI is Professor of Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing Engineering at The University of Toledo in Ohio. ROBERT R. STEPHENS is Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at The University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho. The late HENRY O.
