Hudain Muhammad is an African American Muslim woman, a mother, and a proud native of Philadelphia, PA. She is the founder, owner, and operator of Modest House LLC, ShuAyb's Library LLC, and Hudain Muhammad Publishing House. A passionate storyteller, educator, and community builder, Hudain is dedicated to amplifying the voices and lived experiences of Black Muslim women and girls through literature that is rooted in authenticity, faith, and empowerment. Memoirs of the Modern Muslimah is the first book in a bold and intimate series that explores identity, spirituality, girlhood, and the pursuit of peace in a complex and often challenging world. Drawing from her own life, Hudain writes with honesty, heart, and hope-offering readers a reflection of themselves and a path toward deeper self-understanding. As a mother of one son, her work is also a legacy-an offering to future generations that affirms the beauty, resilience, and sacredness of the modern Muslimah's journey. Through this series and beyond, Hudain Muhammad continues her mission of storytelling with purpose, power, and grace.
