Gene Daniels (D Lit et Phil, University of South Africa) has been a missionary and researcher in the Muslim world for over twenty-five years. He and his family started their journey in Central Asia as church planters among unreached Muslim people groups. Daniels has authored several books and dozens of articles. Above all, he longs to someday hear the words, ""Well done my good and faithful servant.""
This devotional book is a gentle, clear, and encouraging companion for anyone who wants to know Jesus better-and follow him more fully. No matter where your calling might take you, these daily reflections offer a meaningful way to begin a conversation with the Lord. This book is a treasure for all believers. It's perfect whether you're praying for or supporting missionaries, raising children, or seeking to live out your own unique calling. The timeless truths shared here apply to everyone. Enjoy! -Pam Arlund, PhD, Editor, Perspectives on the World Christian Movement, 5th Ed, Director of Training, All Nations International I warmly recommend this book-not for a quick read, but for quiet reflection. Whether ""sender"" or ""sent,"" walk a bit with Daniels as you read words written from his heart and from years of living out the vision and calling he has received from God. -David Greenlee, PhD, International Research Associate, Operation Mobilization With colorful and captivating prose, my longtime missions colleague Gene has captured the mindset of those devoted to missions-both those who never set foot on ""the field"" and those who make it their home. He truly ""gets it,"" expressing with refreshing honesty and clarity the places I've been. -Becky Watt, Co-founder, Reaching Unreached Nations (RUN) Ministries
