Martin Mahler, a rocket scientist by education, is a multilingual Qlik consultant with vast experience in championing Qlik Technologies across financial services and investment banks. An engineer by education, IT consultant by work experience and with additional studying done in finance (Passed CFA Level 1), Martin is bridging the gap between IT and the business and can mediate between the two worlds providing valuable data insights to business users. He is leveraging Qlik's data analytics and self-service capabilities by following the concept of bringing IT closer to the business. Being very passionate about what he does and an energetic individual, he also regularly shares his knowledge at presentations within the QlikDevGroup in London and is regularly being invited to attend visualization conferences. Recently, Martin has founded his company Vizlib which provides an easy-to-use, highly configurable and supported visualization library as an add-on to Qlik Sense. With Vizlib sitting on top of Qlik's powerful associative engine, he aims to disrupt the way data is consumed by empowering the business user to do more data analytics themselves, without having to write a single line of code or help from IT - for a genuinely real self-service capability Jason Michaelides is an experienced consultant and Qlik Luminary whose Qlik journey began in 2009. From the day of his SiB (Seeing is Believing - initial demo of QlikView) he has loved Qlik products with an unbridled passion; over the years he has presented at numerous Qlik events, driven expansion at every company he's worked with and, by co-founding the international Qlik Dev Group has continued to bang the drum - loud. Jason coined the phrase ""Eat. Sleep. Qlik. Repeat"" for the Dev Group, so as you can see is maybe a tad obsessive about advocating the Qlik products. Jason runs the Data Practice for Calibrate Consulting in London; a niche firm focusing on specialised delivery using experienced industry practitioners, primarily within the Financial Services sector. Jason's team contains consultants as passionate as he is, including three Qlik Luminaries amongst an extremely talented group of Qlik technologists. A family man with two young children, Jason just about manages to balance an extremely busy work-life balance with his other main interest - fatherhood.
