Lewis Bogaty is a writer and photographer living in New York. His fiction has appeared in Virginia Quarterly Review, Mississippi Review, Descant, Sou'Wester, Another Chicago Magazine, Confrontation, and others. His non-fiction has appeared in Virginia Quarterly Review, Columbia Law Review, and various other magazines and newspapers. His short story in Kansas Quarterly received a Kansas Arts Commission/Kansas Quarterly Fiction Award. He has also received a BRIO fiction award from the Bronx Council On The Arts. This collection, in an earlier version, was a semi-finalist in the 2021 Elixir Press Fiction Award competition. His photographs have been exhibited in solo and group shows. His images have appeared in the New York Times and other newspapers, magazines and corporate publications.
