Todos, menos James Hunter. James, guapo y misterioso, encarna la definición clásica del ""chico malo"" con un pasado oscuro y tormentoso que no hace más que alimentar su leyenda. After yet another move caused by her mother—an artist incapable of staying in one place for too long—June White arrives in Laguna Beach, California, and has to start over once again.
For someone who would rather lock herself in her room watching true crime documentaries on Netflix than go to parties, making friends has never been easy. And she assumes that, as the new girl in her senior year of high school, history will repeat itself. But, against all odds, she instantly clicks with her new classmates, who make her feel welcome. Everyone except James Hunter.
James—handsome, mysterious, and the classic definition of a ""bad boy""—has a dark and troubled past that only adds to his legend. He’s reckless, rude, and loves living on the edge. He is everything June should stay away from. And yet, there’s something about him that stirs conflicting feelings within her, pulling her in with an irresistible force.
