Aida Yabut was born in the bustling city of Manhattan, New York. Her father's Filipino heritage gifted him with musical talent that accompanied her mother's lyrical Puerto Rican voice beautifully. Aida's love for music started with her singing a solo at a church production at the age of four. Through the years, she developed her skills in art, violin, piano, singing, drama, and currently teaches all of those art forms. She has been in film, theater and has also directed drama and musical productions. Aida earned her BA in education, and her Masters in English while using all of her talents in her world of teaching. She has taught pupils from kinder to post college graduates and has truly loved and enjoyed all of her students.
