Lost in Goodland is a memoir of growing up in a home shaped by addiction and instability. Set in Northwest Kansas, the book follows a nine-year-old boy growing up amid divorce, poverty, emotional abuse, and the need to keep the peace.

It looks at the habits formed to survive childhood trauma and how those patterns resurface years later in adulthood.

This book is for readers who grew up learning how to manage other people's emotions and are still trying to understand what that did to them. It does not offer easy closure or simple answers. It is a story about what it takes to leave-and what follows you when you do.
