Following London Baby Seaside, London Baby Rides, London Baby Christmas, London Baby Sights, London Baby Bells, London Baby Markets, London Baby Birthday, the London Baby Wildlife is the 8th book in the London Baby Series. It fits nicely in the hand and makes a wonderful pocket size companion and gift to Londoners, visitors, tourists, guides, city fans, culture and geography explorers, naturists, gardeners and family adventurers across all age groups. It is a must have for any parent wanting to navigate their family through London's wild world in a fun and informative way.

Reviews for LONDON BABY WILDLIFE: where wild freestyled

Reviewed by Inga Buccella for Readers' Favorite - five star rating ""London Baby Wildlife by Lande Jewels is a pocket-sized book chock-full of nature observations, each in a one-page poem. From heron to hedgehog, Lande Jewels has created little gems of wisdom for families to enjoy. Though not particularly rhyming, the poems have a melodic quality. Science, British history, religion, animal behavior, and even symbolism are all included in this sweet collection. The book is specifically about the urban wildlife residing in London. In the poem ""Robin,"" personification describes the bird and is reminiscent of Victorian London and postmen in red uniforms who were once called ""Robins."" I loved Lande Jewels' poetry book London Baby Wildlife. This small book includes poems that are reflective, easy to understand, and honest. I was impressed with each animal species' ability to adapt to the change in climate or human ""progress."" With titles like swan, squirrel, and toad, each poem is a complete story. Therefore, the book can be read in one sitting or savored one treasure at a time. Every poem has a beautiful watercolor photo of an animal to accompany it. I have discovered the creatures that inhabit London's grasslands, glide upon its lakes, and perch upon its rafters and gargoyles. While reading the poems, I could not help but think of the Frog and Toad books by Arnold Lobel. Sometimes whimsical, London Baby Wildlife is more of a timeless non-fiction classic tale about the secret natural world that's hidden, but also in plain view. Lande Jewels has authored some big insights into some small wonders. I highly recommend you take a peek!"" Review by Cindy Topps on Goodreads ""A delightful outing in the LONDON BABY offering, Wildlife introduces you to a goodly selection of the feathered and furred inhabitants of the world capital, some more reclusive and hard to spot, than others. Poetic and fairy tale-like, yet astute, with fetching illustrations, this is a book which, although not for the tinies, can be enjoyed by older children, and upward, also nicely tying in rituals going back centuries. My favorite? The oft-maligned pigeon, that creature of history`s wartime-fame, so unselfish and heroic, and unthinkable to separate from London`s cityscape; think the Walt Disney production of P.L. Travers` ""Mary Poppins,"" where the old beggar woman sits on the steps of St. Paul`s Cathedral and feeds the birds. It gets me, every time. Disclaimer: I have received an advance review copy for free, and am leaving a review voluntarily.""
