Diagnosed with epilepsy at 10 months old, Jennifer A Whitaker dealt with epilepsy herself. She only knew life with epilepsy. Because of her Asperger's or High-Function Autism, she thought having seizures was normal. After all, as far as she knew, she was like all the other kids at her school. She would have an epileptic seizure and then carry on with whatever was going on, even in sports, academics, later running a tutoring company, and so forth. As far as she knew, so what I had a seizure, I still have all that's on my to-do list. This journey continues until 2019, her epilepsy was so severe, seizures only got worse as she aged, she had already failed multiple Vagal Nerve Stimulator implants, and all epileptics medications on the market and she was down to only one solution left to only hope for a life free of seizures that were occurring 1-5 times a day almost every day. That is where this journey begins with Lobectomy: How It Saved My Life Volume I: Testing Journey.
