The book utilizes the research of, among others, developmental and neuropsychologist James W. Prescott, psychiatrist and psychoanalyst Anthony Storr, psychiatrist M. Scott Peck, and Erich Fromm, the developer of psychiatrist Wilhelm Reich's psychoanalytic theory. The book examines how all violence stems from the masses' deep, compulsive orgastic longing. This longing is the direct result of varying degrees of brain damage caused by parental mental and/or physical abuse of the child in early childhood, even in the fetal stage. When innate, natural aggression is damaged, and gentle physical touch is missing, hell inevitably breaks loose.
