This attractive little book presents 20 creative tassel designs for beading and tassel enthusiasts. All the projects incorporate crusted beading, a very decorative technique for covering an object with a sewn layer of beads. For the author Helen Dafter the delights of this technique are that no counting of massive numbers of beads is involved, and that very often the beads can be sewn on in multiples, thus allowing you to cover an area quite quickly.

The tassels are based on a basic construction method, each with its own decorative variations for the crusted tassel top and beaded drops, with colour photographs and diagrams to complement the instructions.

In this book Helen has taken a delightful side trip from the books on silk ribbon embroidery for which she is so well known, bringing to the subject of tassels her customary enthusiasm and professionalism.
