The Lionfish hails from the tropical, warm waters of the Indian and South Pacific Oceans. They have featured in marine tanks for many years thanks to their beauty and ability to adapt well to tank life. There are no fewer than 12 species to delight the aquarist and the Lionfish is very popular despite the fact that it is venomous.
