In 2022, he married Caroline Emma Chidester (born Caroline Cannon) in Vancouver, WA. Ashlan has published several technical manuals, articles, and books referenced in technical training throughout the world. Several podcasts, technical journals, and magazines have also referenced his lifelong work. He continues to live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with his wife and dog, writing from his home.
