A lifelong lover of languages, Mark proudly speaks five languages and can tell jokes in another ten! He is on a mission to help foster that amazing sense of connection that you feel when you speak to someone in their own language. He devised the Story Powered Language Learning Method as a way to help children learn a language without realising it. This unique approach: blends an English language story with over 50 words and phrases in another language so that children can learn without realising. It also builds a child's confidence in engaging with a new language; and cements the foundation of a lifelong love of languages.Mark is represented by the BKS Agency in London. James graduated from Falmouth University with a BA (Hons) in Illustration in 2007. He lives in the UK and is represented by NB Illustration. He loves the countryside, music and illustrating dogs getting up to mischief... What James Cottell does James creates his humorous, detailed cartoon illustrations using a blend of both traditional and digital methods. He has a real strength for observation, characterisation and a strong use of line. He loves illustrating animals and people and is rarely without his trusty sketchbook to capture the world around him. His commissioned work often involves dogs which he is more than happy about!
