It features abstracts of warrants and surveys preserved in shucks (files). Each survey includes the name of the new landowner and acreage, an abstract of the warrant with its number and date, the survey date and surveyor along with a summary of the survey description and names of chain carriers, and the grant number and date, noting whether the fee was paid to the State.
