""This is a fantastic book on the many details of a positive bike life. More than just an excellent repair manual, the author also makes cycling feel inclusive: From the language and images, to the explanations and tricks of the trade, this is a book for all ages, all abilities, all backgrounds, and all walks of life. Highly recommended!"" -- Bob Giordano, founder and executive director, Free Cycles Missoula community cycle shop ""The day I understood that I could easily get from A to B if I followed my own rhythm was the day this machine became a real way of life. Biking is a wonderful moment of introspection and personal advancement—and one which is much cheaper than a shrink."" -- Élise “Cabergnon” Sauvinet ""To build the desire for something you need is to engage in the labor of human happiness."" -- Paul Fournel, author of Need for the Bike
