Carolina is an illustrator andoccasional animator drawn toquirky characters and excitingcolour combinations. She wasborn in the lovely seaside town ofPorto, Portugal, and is currentlyliving in artsy Berlin, Germany,with her partner (who isunfortunately allergic to cats orelse she'd finally be the crazy catlady her child-self always assumedshe would one day be). With a great memory for faces(but terrible for names, sheapologises in advance) and objectswith a personality, it makes sensethat she illustrates children'sbooks for a living. The toughestbut also her favourite part of theillustration process is thecolouring stage: whenever sheputs two odd colours togetherthat go unexpectedly well, shegets butterflies in her stomach.
