Reviews for Learning Your Lines: The Compact Guide

'Very handy and easy-to-read… I highly recommend trying these creative ideas' * Drama Resource * 'There is plenty in this small and reasonably priced book for any actor to try out if they want to improve their speed of and confidence in learning lines for rehearsal, the film set or a last-minute audition or self-tape' * British Theatre Guide * 'Very useful and informative... compact and easy to read... sets out strategies for line learning at speed and, importantly, memorising... Each chapter is set out in short, clearly headed sections that are easy to identify... this book has introduced me to many very interesting and unusual ideas about line learning and memorising, many of which I would use, both as an actor and a teacher' * Word Matters (Journal of the Society of Teachers of Speech & Drama) *
