This text highlights a simplified presentation of the basics of the Bhagavad Gita, in a palatable manner, enabling one to appreciate the depth of the knowledge contained in them in its relevance to the contemporary world. The elementary problems that arise relate to three psychological states one might have to deal with, when they occur, as each of them may call for a different solution: kinship, indecisiveness and opportunist decision-making. It further uses the Lord Krishna - Arjuna dialogue on war to help the reader appreciate the relevance of these examples to their respective circumstances. The book also provides a brief overview of each of the eighteen chapters for better understanding and retention of the concepts, and contemplative understanding up to application. It says that understanding depressive knowledge, working for objectivity, satisfaction, gentle behavior, and spirituality is an art that everybody can master in a global context. The language of the book is relatively simple as such; hence, it is quite suitable for addressing everybody, both children and adults, even teachers. It is advisable to study the book, summarise it, discuss the information provided and take action. In general it is about comprehending the underlying remarks about the need for tranquility, execution of set objectives in desirable manner, and managing challenges in an appropriate way.
