RONALD R. SIMS is the Floyd Dewey Gottwald Sr. Professor of Business Administration at the College of William and Mary, where he teaches organization behavior and human resource management. He is author, co-author, and editor or co-editor of more than fifteen books and more than 70 articles in a wide range of scholarly and professional journals. JOHN G. VERES III is Director of the Center for Business and Economic Development at Auburn University. He teaches courses in Auburn's Department of Psychology on psychometric theory and measurement and conducts research on job analysis, test validation, and issues in equal employment opportunity. Among his more recent books are Human Resource Management and the Americans with Disabilities Act (Greenwood, 1995) which he co-edited with Professor Sims.
