The Type 95 Ha-Go was a light tank utilized by Japan during World War II, serving both the armored divisions of the Imperial Japanese Army and the armored forces of the Imperial Navy's Special Landing Forces. Initially developed to assist and safeguard motorized infantry, it was capable of matching the pace of troops while offering tactical support during missions. The tank was armed with a Type 94 37 mm gun and two 6.5 mm machine guns. It emerged as the primary Japanese vehicle in its category, with approximately 2000 units manufactured by 1943. Some of these units were later enhanced with a Type 98 37 mm gun, known for its higher muzzle velocity, and two Type 97 7.7 mm machine guns, which were more effective and dependable than earlier versions. A variety of modified versions were produced, beginning with the Type 95!
